So sadly, to start off, I have not been watching Doctor Who. I have, in fact, been sadly lacking. I think I've made it to Fires of Pompeii in Series Four before my computer mysteriously deleted the series.
But of course, that does not mean that I have heard things. Like... David Tennant leaving?! Seriously?!
And to be honest, I think Matt Smith looks like a girl.
But at least MARTHA ISN'T BACK!
And Donna was probably one of my favourite companions...
But dude, seriously? Cloning? How so... I hesitate to say idiotic, because I have no idea of the context... but really... -sigh-
Oh well.
If I bash any character in the Doctor Who universe, it is strictly constructive criticism.

RIGHT, so now that I've gotten my busy summer schedule out of the way... here's a fantastic picture that I made myself a while back that has to do with Doctor Who, obviously... I totally forgot about it, actually. I'm shocked that I did. By the by, Doctor Who Series Four is actually coming to CBC Friday September 19th, 2008.

.Doctor Who References on Sitcoms
I was just checking out a scene from a telly show called Coupling - Jack Davenport stars in it - and I was laughing over the fact that there was a slight Doctor Who reference. What was even more funny was the fact that everyone was laughing over it - not because it was funny, but because they actually UNDERSTOOD. You say "Sofas are protection from Daleks" and everyone cracks up, except for those people who have no idea what you're talking about, and that's a shame. Doctor Who is classic. It's a brilliant show - why do you think I have this blog? - and all of our parents have either seen it when they were children or remember talking/hearing about it from somewhere. It's amazing... how one little word can make it an extremely memorable show or an 'I hate you' show. Doctor Who has its ups and downs for different people - especially the new one, such as getting rid of Rose Tyler or bringing her back. The older Doctor Who was a lot less emotionally complicated - unless you developed a crush on one of the Doctors and he regenerated leaving you alone and despairing - but that's what an angst-ridden society does to you, I guess. the thing is, and I guess my point, is that it's a brilliant, classic show that won't be forgotten easily. Other, newer comedy shows in Britain are mentioning it throughout their script - for goodness sake, even The Simpsons showed Tom Baker hanging from the wall with his long scarf.
Whoop, time to jet for now.
Cheers!
