.for starters...WARNING: SPOILERS for DW and TORCHWOOD

So first off, this is where I stand in the world of Who and all dimensions apart yet somehow connected.

WARNING: SPOILERS for Doctor Who (possibly - haven't gotten there yet) and Torchwood.

Love Captain Jack Harkness - not so crazy about Torchwood. Tosh is okay - technology is good. Ianto is... well... I'm not to big on him either. Owen just scares me. Gwen makes me angry, plus she's a sorry excuse for a DI - therefore not even good enough for Torchwood. The characters are somewhat weak. she randomly cheats on her boyfriend - fiance, I should say - yet another reason to make me mad.

Martha Jones is... shall I say... interesting. But first let's stick to the Doctor.

Christopher Eccleston's Doctor was 'mazing, even though I first became aware of the new series with David Tennant's Doctor. All in all, Eccleston's Doctor was an intense character, not all that humorous - which, considering, makes sense; he's over 900 years old, alone and trying to live with the fact that he destroyed his home planet in a massive war. Let's face it, the guy's having a hard day. Comparing the two, Tennant's Doctor seems a little reckless, but that's the beauty of regeneration. It's also nice to get a change - maybe almost total changes - because then the show doesn't get boring. Well, boring less quickly. So, pros and cons together, I have no idea who I like better. They probably even each other out - physically and characteristically.

Enter Rose Tyler. Yup, she's blond, but she's got some kick-butt action at times. We also got to see her character develop - then end in the sappiest, most prolonged way possible.

I'm not saying tears are bad or anything, but maybe the ending was a little overdone. But it was incredibly important to leave you not only with the taste of defeat, but an opening for Rose to come back again. So, while I can tell you that I detested every moment of the climax episode because of me bursting into unquenchable sobs every five minutes, I enjoyed it too intensely to hate anything else.

I hate Martha - her scream made me scream.

I think I'm ranting - oh, but that's what this blog is for! Right...

If I bash Martha, or any other character in the Doctor Who universe, it is strictly constructive criticism.
